Framing Our Memories Project
As an educator, you know the importance of fostering creativity and expression in your students. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our “Framing Our Memories” project, a fun and engaging activity that allows your students to make their own DIY photo frames. With our easy-to-use AccuCut MARK 5™ Die-Cutting Machine and Photo Mat #5 die, your students can turn their personal photos into beautifully decorated frames, while also sharing the stories behind their special memories. This project is a great way to promote creativity, self-expression, and teamwork in your classroom. Grab your materials and get started today!
Materials Needed:
- AccuCut MARK 5™ Die-Cutting Machine (AC5500)
- AccuCut Photo Mat #5 (P1465J)
- Personal Photo (4" x 6")
- Construction Paper
- Crayons & Markers
- Glue or Tape
- Embellishments (Optional)
Instructions:
- Place up to 6 layers of construction paper on the AccuCut Photo Mat #5 die.
- Run the die through the MARK 5 die-cutting machine, cutting photo mat for each student.
- Have each student glue or tape their personal 4” x 6” photo into the frame.
- Encourage students use crayons, markers, and other embellishments to decorate their photo frames as desired.
- Once complete, have each student describe why they picked the photo they did and describe why it’s so special to them.
